Our boat

ROMEO is an Elan 350, built in 2012. After ten years running in the charter business at sea, ROMEO finally found its way to the Swiss Sailing Academy.

ROMEO is a reliable and sporty companion for all different sailing and racing courses and races. The Elan 350 was designed in 2011 by Humphreys Yacht Design. The British company also designed racing yachts like a Volvo Open 70 and is well known for innovative concepts.

In 2011, the performance cruiser Elan 350 won the award Yacht of the year. The hull shape, the cockpit and the various trimming options of the Elan 350 show clearly that this boat is built to perform. And not just that, with its length of 35 feet, ROMEO is exactly half of a Volvo Open 70.

Due to its setup ROMEO is ready for racing and the perfect boat to prepare a crew for offshore racing onboard a VO70 or similar.
